Justice should never be tempered with mercy. Law is made keeping in mind justice and equality. Every decision maker or judge should approach a case with terms of law because law is not biased as per personal opinion and not swayed by the expressions or situation of a person, whereas mercy can soften the process. Justice should always abided by the law because all are equal in front of the eyes of justice, no poor or rich get different punishment or judgement. But if we see in another way justice sometimes needs mercy because in some cases we know who is the victim and who has been affected but in front of law we need proper evidence and witness, in the absence of evidence some criminals were let out from justice, it is ridiculous. As everyone knows what happened and what the truth is but without evidence or sometimes with fake evidence the criminal is let out. Sometimes some cases dealing with life’s of some people are being leased out without any evidence which spoils many lives. So in some cases mercy too needed more than a law. But if we see overall the law is mostly letting out criminals not harming the innocent that is the thing needed more. Therefore according to me justice should be tempered with law even but some laws can be changed for some extent.
